Jerry
Pulley
Registered Consulting Arborist #329
Jerry
Pulley is president and owner of Tree Clinic. He earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in Horticulture and Entomology from Texas Technological
College, and a Master of Science degree in Entomology from Texas
Tech University.
In 1979, Jerry
got started in the tree business. In the beginning, his work focused
mainly on pecan production. By 1983, the business had expanded
into a full service tree company called Tree Clinic, providing
consulting, diagnostics, prescriptions, treatments, pruning, and
chemical sales.
In addition
to running Tree Clinic for the past 20 years, Jerry has put considerable
effort and time into promoting arboriculture and improving education
and professionalism within the industry. Jerry has served on the
board of directors of the American Society of Consulting Arborists
(ASCA) and the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). He
has served as member, vice-president, and president of the Texas
Chapter of ISA, and chaired numerous committees. He has also been
associated with several other notable organizations, such as Texas
Association of Landscape Contractors (TALC), Society of American
Foresters (SAF), and the Entomological Society of America (ESA).
Jerry has presented a number of seminars on such topics as oak
wilt, tree appraisal, and micro-injection technique.
Jerry has
been the recipient of several prestigious awards including Outstanding
Professional of 2000 (Texas Forest Service/Texas Urban Forestry
Council), Tree Preservation and Excellent Leadership awards (Texas
Chapter ISA), Arborist of the Year (Central Texas Arborist Association),
Outstanding Accomplishment and Environmental Improvement in Tree
Maintenance awards (TALC), and Outstanding Achievement (for his
Christmas Tree Recycling Project, Austin, Texas).

Clarence
Biddy
Certified Arborist #TX-0187
Clarence
Biddy has been with Tree Clinic since 1987. He started as a member
of the pruning crew in 1987, and then worked as pruning crew foreman
and treatment technician. Over the years, Clarence took an interest
in tree diagnostics and trained closely with Jerry Pulley in the
scientific process of identifying tree problems and prescribing
effective treatment. In 1993, he received his arborist certification.
Currently, Clarence works as a Tree Clinic arborist.
Clarence served
as board member of the Central Texas Arborists Association (CTAA)
for two years, and one year as education board member of the Texas
Association of Landscape Contractors (TALC).
